All work and no play, makes SPiCEY a very dull girl.

Since the wedding date drama, I have been really working or wig alterations like a crazy person.

Whats going on now

1. Sewed my very first wearable thing. Its for Anime Expo naturally. 

2. Ate this!

3. I went to a wedding

4. Was told by this lady our wedding date would have to be changed, because she forgot the place was book for September and Oct-November or 2012. She also forgot to tell us they paint the walls to match the current exhibit being showcased. As you can see the walls are brown, when we put down the deposit, they were white. So here we are now, still a little shocked.    

*I Feel a little bummed out about the whole date having to be moved, but the reality is, no one was hurt, or died. All will be okay. The way I look at it is, everything happens for a reason. ^.^  

          

  

Can you say Anime Expo?

I can say I am totally enthralled by all that is Anime Expo. I feel like we just got home from AX11 and already we are just six months away from going back.

Cue manic violins and brass music. That may seem like a long time to most, but there are cosplays to be made and many things to be purchased.

Thank God that one of those things does not include a hotel, because we finally booked one. Was it pricey? Yes. Will it be worth it? Heck yes! Long story short I can't wait for June to come.

Mr.SPiCEY and I finally put the deposit down on our wedding venue. I feel so much relief about it too. When we first got there I had my heart set on the "garden location" for the ceremony. Upon arrival, I was immediately disappointed. It has been raining so much in my hometown, so everything was muddy and sad looking.

Once we got inside, my heart melted! I knew that that was going to be the place! I hope to have more updates for you soon. I also hope to have more pictures up too.

Product smack down.

I was waiting and waiting for the OPI color in Rainbow Connection to come out at Ulta. Since they weren't carrying the color I wanted I saw the Ulta brand for a color that looked similar, Pinata-yada-yada. It was much cheaper than I knew the OPI brand would be (OPI fanatic here) so I just bought it. Well the colors are great in the Ulta brand nail polish, but I wasn't impressed with the lackluster application. Needless to say I went BACK to Ulta and finally bought the OPI color.
